Sreemanimaan started its journey in the year 2017 with two students in a small space and has kept on teaching to a number of students so far.
Master Shanmukha is an immense inspiration to innumerable Kuchipudi learners. His politely patient teaching technique has helped many students to become ace classical dancers.
After successfully completing 10 to 15 programs and teaching 200 plus students, we have now set our sights to prepare our students for ballets.
Master Shanmukha hails from Korkonda East Godavari who later came to Hyderabad with a hopeful dream when he was 20. He went through all the odd jobs during his graduation to meet his ends where he involved himself in corporate jobs. Keeping dance as a passionate fire in his heart since childhood, he started with western dance however. He taught western dance in various schools after which he gradually stumbled upon the fact of learning Kuchipudi to teach students. Knowing classical dance has a great significance and deep essence in one’s life, he enrolled himself in certificate course at Thyagaraja Music College (King Koti) where he received the golden opportunity to learn the auspiciously popular "Vempati Kuchipudi Style". Eventually master started getting a lot of Kuchipudi classes to teach and so he decided to move ahead in Kuchipudi for full time. Master Shanmukha did Certificate course at Thyagaraja Music and Dance College, Diploma from Vedantam Narasimha Sastry garu in Vedantam Kuchipudi Arts academy and Masters from Hyderabad Central University where he learned under the guidance of Anuradha Jonnalagadda garu, Aruna Bhikshu garu. Natuvangam tala gyanam from DSP Sastry garu and Sivaraju garu. Mridangam from Jayakumar Acharya garu. Master Shanmukha got the auspicious opportunity to learn Kuchipudi from Vempati Ravi Shankar garu who shaped master authentically. Without any sound financial background master Shanmukha started his journey where only hope kept him going. Making students perform in ballets is his ultimate motive on which he is working upon. Master Shanmukha is a stonch religious believer who aspires to promote meaningful mythological stories by adding his small contribution to enrich the society through indelible Kuchipudi ballets.

The name Sreemanimaan dervies from Mani (Master Shanmukha’s grandma’s name) and Maan (Lord Hanumaan’s name). Thus proudly called as SREEMANIMAAN. Sreemanimaan Kuchipudi Dance academy believes in training it’s students the practical aspects of the Kuchipudi dance form. Also incorporates theory as well as history into the lessons in order to gain broad understanding of the subject.
MASTER SHANMUKHA HAS COMPLETED HIS MASTERS in Performing Arts in Kuchipudi dance at the university of Hyderabad and certificate course at the Thyagaraja music AND dance college. He trains his students the practical aspects of the Kuchipudi dance form and also incorporates theory as well as history into his lessons in order to gain broad understanding of the subject.
